Dear Dr. David William Kim, I would like to present a paper at the May conference on "The Value of Harmony (화위귀 和爲貴): Confucian Themes in the Korean Peace-making of Rev. & Mrs. Sun Myung Moon." The paper will argue that, rather than using the conventional realpolitik of east/west political relations, the contributions and shortcomings of Rev. & Mrs. Sun Myung Moon's peace-making activities for the sake of the unification of the Korean peninsula are better understood in the light of Confucian principles of personal diplomacy.1 년전
